Oscars 2010: Sandra Bullock’s Acceptance Speech – Funny and Touching

by Jane Boursaw on March 8, 2010

One of the best moments from the 82nd Academy Awards was Sandra Bullock’s acceptance speech for Best Actress for her role in ‘The Blind Side.’ She was touching, funny, moving, and so sweet when she talked about her mom, Helga. Yes, it made me weepy, but in a good way. And what a beautiful romance she seems to share with husband and biker Jesse James.

What a fantastic year Bullock has had, and I’m sure there are many more to come. She has several movies in the works, including ‘One of the Guys,’ ‘Kiss & Tango,’ ‘Jingle,’ and ‘The Sprinkler Queen.’ I’ll look forward to it.

Jamie – I know, just an awesome speech. She said everything in so few words, too.
